Master 1st year

I teach the introduction lectures, where I talk about plant genomes, including their size, ploidy, and organization at the 1D, 2D, and 3D levels, as well as novel sequencing technologies and their applications in fundamental and applied plant biology. more

Master 2nd Year

I participate with a Student tutorial: “The publishing game”  The aim of this tutorial is to help students analyse a scientific paper in a contextualised way. Each group of four students is assigned a preprint from bioRxiv. I explain how academic publishing works. We review and discuss the publication of their assigned preprint. more

Master 1st year

I participate with a lecture on the role of epigenetics in plant adaptation. After a brief introduction to epigenetics, I address the concept of plant memory, including short- and long-term memory within a generation, as well as intergenerational and transgenerational memory. more

Bachelor 3rd year 

This practical course involves several lecturers, teaching assistants, and student groups. We perform immunolocalization of microtubules and DNA staining in synchronized tobacco cell culture, GUS staining in Arabidopsis, and tutorials. more
